The CELLEX works

Cellex worksVall d'Hebron earns 7,000 square meters for cancer research.

The Cellex Foundation, a leader in scientific patronage in Catalonia, finances the construction of the new headquarters of the institute VHIO.

Designed and directed in their implementation by the study Palou & Arana de Barcelona, it was inaugurated in May this landmark building dedicated to research.

The new facility is in addition to other donations made Cellex oncology at Vall d'Hebron, including a day hospital, a research laboratory, instruments imaging, radiotherapy accelerator and a DNA sequencer . The building is part of VHIO founding agreement signed six years ago by the Ministry of Health, the Institut Català de la Salut, the Cellex Foundation and the Cancer Research Fero led by Josep Baselga. Later La Caixa and BBVA have joined the VHIO as patrons.
